Epsilon Eta

Gamma Chapter at the University of Pennsylvania

Epsilon Eta Penn was founded by a group of friends who met in the fall of 2014 in their freshman seminar on earth science. As they came to know Penn and one another better, they expressed a feeling that Penn lacked a sense of community among sustainably minded students. They decided to form a group that was dedicated to bringing these people together. After researching different organizations, the group officially colonized the Gamma Chapter of Epsilon Eta, a national environmental fraternity, in the fall of 2015.

The mission of Epsilon Eta is to recognize and connect sustainability-minded students, providing them with a network of support and opportunities during and after their academic career. We strive to foster a conscious awareness of the intrinsic relationship between people and their environment through academics, the community, service, and personal development.
